Azamara Chooses IBS’ Ship Partner™ as Shipboard Property Management System:Agreement Covers Current Azamara Fleet and New Builds

Atlanta, GA –November 12, 2007:  Azamara Cruises recently signed an agreement with IBS to use IBS’ Ship Partner software for ship board passenger and crew management.  Ship Partner was specifically designed for shipboard usage and includes:

  • Cashless on-board billing for enhanced revenue (One card system)
  • Multi-segmented operations – multiple boarding and disembarkation ports
  • Ability to receive extensive data from shore side reservation system
  • Check-in – including at remote locations
  • Billing, information and manifesting for passenger and crew
  • Interfaces – Point of Sales Systems (Bars, Gift Shops, Internet Café, Arcade, Minibar, etc.), Telephone/Call Accounting, Interactive TV, Cabin Door Locks, Crew Debit Card Systems, and Credit Card approval systems
  • Gangway Access Control (Security)
  • Crew Management
  • Crew and Vessel Safety
  • Shore Excursion Sales
  • AVO (Avoid Verbal Order) / Work Order System
  • Passenger Requests and Amenities System
  • On-line interfaces to POS, telephone, ITV (Interactive TV), cabin door locks, internet workstations, arcade, minibar, crew debit cards, credit card approval systems and security systems
