Barker & Meowsky and High Hopes Pet Food Company Host CockTAILS and Cupcakes Event, to Benefit The Anti-Cruelty Society: Event to Also Feature Open Doghouse and Cupcake Decorating Workshop

Chicago, IL – December 2, 2010: Chicago-based pet boutique, Barker & Meowsky, a paw firm, together with High Hopes pet food company, invites the Chicago community out for a sweet evening of CockTAILS and Cupcakes on December 10th at 6:00pm until 8:00pm.  In addition to holiday cocktails and snacks, the pet-friendly event will include after-hours shopping and special sales to benefit The Anti-Cruelty Society (the Society) at Barker & Meowsky, just in time for the holidays.  The Society will also be showcasing pets that are available for adoption.  Dogs are invited to sample the new Celebration Cupcakes, and doggie bags will be provided to pooches that are unable to attend.  Details are as follows:

To round out the weekend’s festivities, Barker & Meowsky and High Hopes will also offer an Open Doghouse and Cupcake Decorating Workshop on Sunday, December 12th at 11:00am until 2:00pm.  This family-friendly day of fun includes free sample doggie cupcakes to decorate for beloved four-legged pals. High Hopes will be providing tips for hosting pet parties and including pets in family holiday celebrations and special occasions. The Anti-Cruelty Society and their dog ambassadors will again be on hand to accept donations and showcase pets available for adoption.  Details are as follows:

In conjunction with the launch of their newest line of treats by High Hopes, Celebration Cupcakes, these two original events will benefit the Society as Barker & Meowsky will donate 10% of the evening’s proceeds to them, and High Hopes will make a special donation as well. 

During this weekend event only, holiday shoppers can share a warm fuzzy feeling with their dogs.  Barker & Meowsky will be giving 10% off of exclusive Tanner & Dash sweaters and select coats with a matching 10% donation going to the Society.
