Social Media is the Topic of the First Session on March 12, 2013
Chicago, IL – March 6, 2013 – Kate Koziol and Bryan Alaspa of K Squared Communications will be leading the first session of the Global Business Travel Association’s new GBTA Academy Online Training program. “Social Media Applications’ Impact on Travel Management: The Benefits, the Risks and How to be a Success amidst the Constant Change” will include extensive original research and will tap into the thoughts and opinions of the global audience expected to be in attendance.
“Travel technology has always been ahead of the curve and travel is a hot topic of interest, so it makes perfect sense that social media will thrive in this arena,” said Kate Koziol, president of K Squared. “Some are using social media as a method of crowd sourcing, some as another communication tool in their arsenal and still others are using it to build community – it is being customized meet a corporation’s specific goals.”
The GBTA Academy Online Training provides skill building training opportunities taught by experienced, industry professionals offered through a web-enabled, dynamic platform. The 90-minute sessions are designed to increase skills, knowledge and abilities supporting development of GBTA member professional development goals. The platform also provides an opportunity to interact with business travel professionals from around the world and will be archived for future access.
